At Packleader Academy, we specialize in dog training, behaviour modification, and animal communication for Anxious Dog Management. Our private in home approach empowers you to become a calm and assertive pack leader through positive reinforcement and mutual respect in the privacy of your own home. We focus on transforming lives and strengthening the bond with your furry friend. Realizing the dog is simply a mirror to our own energy and anxiety will help the dog become a more confident and secure dog. What would you like your dog to do? Be comfortable around strangers and other dogs Walk nicely on a leash around dogs and people Come when called around distractions Be comfortable with body-handling for groomer & vet Be comfortable with a new baby coming What would you like your dog to stop doing? Barking or lunging at other dogs, family, strangers Growling and snapping Fearful or aggressive Barking at everything and everyone Possessive around food, toys, beds, couch Nipping at fingers, feet and clothing In our private 2 hour session we will work intensively on the issues that you are struggling with and we will set up the situation so you can get hands on practising your body language and also learn the cues and sounds that effectively will stop and redirect your dogs behaviour using non-aversive action. I will leave you with a manual and you'll have free phone follow-up for a month following the session if you have any questions.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Procedures: Deadline for cancelling a class or private session can receive a refund if notice is received via email within 48 hours of start of the class and private session. You can reschedule your classes or private session anytime before the 48-hours, or you will not qualify for a refund. Deposits & Payment: Deposit of 30% is required to secure a spot and full payment is due at the start of class or private session. No-Show Fees: No refund will be issued if you are a no show for a private sessions, and a missing class without notice will not be refunded as there the class has moved on to the next part of program. Vaccination Requirements: Proof of up-to-date vaccinations are required, including Rabies, DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus), and Bordetella. Assessment Requirements: Mandatory requirements for booking a private session must be confirmed with a verbal or in person behaviour assessment.
